About New Lifestyle Diet The roots of New Lifestyle Diet started with its founder, Hamilton Erridge, who lost over 100 pounds in 2002. While losing the weight was certainly not easy, after reaching his goal weight, he found himself struggling to find a source for understanding the challenges he was trying to overcome. Feeling alone and hoping to find others that felt the same, he started a free discussion forum and began the process of focusing on his own issues. For the next three years, Erridge continued to focus on his own issues by working with behaviorists, nutritionists and openly discussing the issues with literally thousands of people facing the same issues and seeking weight loss advice and support.

Through his experience, Erridge came to a realization that while many different roads exist for losing weight, providing people with a process for overcoming personal eating- and food-issues was critical for achieving long-term success. Having created a comprehensive process for allowing people to work through their issues, develop new behaviors, and ultimately learn to keep the weight off, Erridge began laying the infrastructure and developing the program for what would become New Lifestyle Diet. To do this, Erridge focused on ensuring that the company utilized a food science manufacturer that had over 20 years of experience in delivering quality products to physicians and hospitals throughout the United States.

In 2004, New Lifestyle Diet officially opened its doors and has been successfully changing lives ever since. Critical to our success, and still true today, New Lifestyle Diet prides itself on providing better tasting, higher quality, and more affordable products than anyone else. Over the years, New Lifestyle Diet has continued to expand, but always has maintained one goal - to help customers not only lose weight, but truly change their lives.

In 2007, Erridge published his book: "Creating Your New Lifestyle." Through a rare combination of warmth, humor, and inspiration, the book addresses the universal truth that in order to lose weight and keep it off, we must first overcome our own behaviors.

In 2009, continuing to further expand upon the knowledge and skills available to New Lifestyle clients, Erridge and Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist Mathew Johnson, Ph.D. co-authored the New Lifestyle Diet Transition and Maintenance Guide - considered to be the most advanced document on the rules to live by for keeping off your weight.

In 2011, we continued innovate by introducing ground breaking weight loss tracking tools and iphone applications. We are extremely proud of these tools that are available to all clients for free.

For 2012, we are very proud of the new products we will be releasing and our continued work with physicians throughout the United States. We are also very excited about the creation of Team New Lifestyle – where we are actively reaching out to clients and having them participate at various fitness events across the United States.
